Windell Middlebrooks Dies; Miller High Life Pitchman Was 36

Windell D. Middlebrooks, a veteran actor best known for portraying one of television’s better known commercial spokespeople, died yesterday at his home in San Fernando Valley.

He was 36 years old.

Middlebrooks was found passed out and rushed by ambulance to a hospital, according to TMZ insiders.

It is unclear if he was pronounced dead at his residence or at the hospital, but no foul play is suspected at this time.

While he was best known for portraying the straight-shooting, white collar pitchman at the center of a number of Miller High Life ads, Middlebrooks was also played roles in such hits TV shows as Cougar Town, Parks and Recreation, Scrubs, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and the Bernie Mac Show.

He was also a series regular on ABC’s Body of Proof, which ran for just over two years.
